Tizùtrāz Se (/ˈtizʊt/ /rəˑz/ [deputy] [clay]) is a subtropical Large Town located in the Kshizbāj̼ Provence of the Kingdom of Hobben.

The name Tizùtrāz Se is derived from the Tauric language, as Tizùtrāz Se was founded by Nitsåk Cadwards, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Tizùtrāz Se has a yearly average temperature of 16°C (60°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 21°C (69°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 12°C (53°F). Tizùtrāz Se receives an average of 244 cm/y (96 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Tizùtrāz Se covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 706 m (2316 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Tizùtrāz Se was founded durring the early 13th century in fall of the year 1205, by Nitsåk Cadwards. The establishment of Tizùtrāz Se was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Nitsåk Cadwards electing to pay people to resettle in Tizùtrāz Se.

Tizùtrāz Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Tizùtrāz Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Tizùtrāz Se is buildings have been located at convienant points along the rivers Tizùtrāz Se was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the narrow cobblestone streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The town rests behind a thin stone wall. The wall's design was likly directly copied from a castle's parmiter defences. It's simply that the arcatect made Tizùtrāz Se's wall substancialy thinner than a castle's walls. While the towers and gatehouses are adiquite, the obvious cost savings measure of making the walls drasticaly thinner reduces their ability to resist siege weapons greatly. The town's impressive-looking wall could fail at a critical moment in battle, and would likely not even resist a few bandits with improvised siege equipment. Tizùtrāz Se's budget oriented has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A look around Tizùtrāz Se gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes.

Cultural Notes

Tizùtrāz Se's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used which employed abundant symbolic geometry, using pure forms such as the circle and square, and plans are based on often symmetrical layouts featuring rectangular courtyards and halls. These structures were is decorated with carved stone or stucco reliefs and made use of colorful stone mosaics..

In Tizùtrāz Se sometimes, near one of the seasonal solstices, the sun appears to split into three and it rains from a clear sky for several hours.

The Retch Hound near Tizùtrāz Se are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Tizùtrāz Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves performance art to channel Invocation energies of tier 1 via divine sermons.
